International Day of Forests celebrated in Maragoli Hills Forest, Vihiga County.

Inspire Africa Initiatives Foundation, State department of Forestry,Vihiga Community Forest Association and the wider community around the Maragoli Hills Forest; on Friday 13th March 2026 planted 1,000 trees in their 30 Ha. Adopted Piece of land to grow and maintain trees within the Maragoli Hills Forest. This was part of the earlier preparations for the National World Forest’s Day Celebrations to be held in Maragoli Hills Forest, Vihiga County on Saturday 21st March 2026 – A National event that will be presided over by the Prime Cabinet Secretary, among others dignitaries.
