Partnering in the Restoration of Maragoli Hills Forest and Advancing Environmental Sustainability Across Africa

Vihiga County, Kenya – October 10th, 2025 – Inspire Africa Initiatives Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by joining hands with stakeholders in the restoration of the Maragoli Hills Forest in Vihiga County. The Foundation will actively participate in its 30 Hectare Maragoli Hills Tree Planting exercise on Mazingira Day (Friday, October 10, 2025) and the Maragoli Hills Forest Marathon (Sunday, October 30, 2025 at Vihiga High School, starting at 6:00 a.m. EAT). This collaboration underscores the Foundation’s dedication to supporting Kenya’s national reforestation agenda and Africa’s broader environmental resilience efforts.

Inspire Africa Initiatives Foundation adopts 30 Ha. of Maragoli Forest to grow and maintain trees within its key ESG focus objectives. This is in its pursuit of supporting the global Environment and Climate Action (ESG) Agenda to make Africa Greener and Blue.

Partners present: National & County Government’s representatives, Inspire Africa Initiatives Foundation’s Ag.
